Out Of The Shadows

I open my eyes only to see darkness
I take it all in
The pain
The hate
The loneliness....
My sanity slowly slips away
My soul and My heart begins to decay
I can't see through this cloud of shadows
My hope has crumbled to ashes
What is left of me
What more can I do
What more can I say....
But to not let go
I wont wave the flag of defeat
I will fight with every breath inside of me
And ignite the spark that was buried deep
As long as my heart continues to beat
I can find my way back from this grief
No longer will I be buried by the shadows
I will be filed with hope and relief
And soon none of this will matter
Because I will crawl
Out of the shadows
