Pretty Girl Winter

How I bleed for Spring's green flush
to wave farewell to snow and slush
I long to feel kind summer's blush
and gaze at
pretty girls

Chill torments rain upon my brow
the shortest days grow meaner now
I long for leaf to sprout from bough
to ogle
pretty girls

In blackest night of thunder growl
through lightning flash and hailstorm's howl
in step with cruelest demon's prowl
I yearn for
pretty girls

Abominations swarm like flies
long skirts and coats I so despise
would'st I could smite them from my eyes
revealing
pretty girls
