Why we hate our dads
Daddy was never home
He preferred the casino where bottles had to pop
Luxurious women around with some tasty meat to roast
The kids hated him for that because it was wrong
Before he knew it was too late and everyone he loved had to go.
Well for me my dad was always home
Never cheated on mum,in fact he is the guy who loved her the most
I salute the old man because everything I had as a cost
He unconditionally paid for me but you know what I feel cold
I still hate his guts like that addicted dad who was never home.
Why we hate our dads
They never listen to our plans, their words the last word
Why do you make my life hard
Why not support my dreams, all you care is status and pride
Trying to make me a product of your will, that’s the shit I don’t like
Dad I never wanted to be a doctor, all I wanted was to write
But you never even read one of my poems; I got too many books that pile
So I write this poem about you with my perfect lyrical style
That I hate you so much, you are an enemy I love to fight.
The part I hate most is that I’m just like you
Same ego, same traits, same faults that you do
I thought I could be different but I’m a fool
I should have listened to you; maybe I couldn’t face this harsh truth
This is why we hate our Dads because they drive us so fast
Forgetting I’m only a human being not a Bugatti car...
