MAKE SURE IT KILLS ME

You passed this ledge of mine

on the way down.

That's one direction I never

hesitate to follow.

With bottom nearing at least we're not alone.

Then I feel you positioning yourself

over,and above me.

I realized that I don't mind

breaking your fall.

Just make sure it kills me,

if you should make it through.

I realized that I don't mind

breaking your fall.

Just make sure there's nothing left of me...

When its over.

Confessions spilling out from desperate energy.

You must have changed your mind,

or maybe it was me.

I pray these moments won't be easily lost,

inside that pretty little, devastated brain of yours.

I realized that I don't mind

breaking your fall.

Just make sure it kills me,

so you have a chance to fall again.

I realized that I don't mind

breaking your fall.

Just make sure there's nothing left of me...

When it's all over.
