You chose
You chose her from the thousands of users online that night
Then chose to send her a message and a link from a favoured site
You chose to laugh and flirt with her til she slowly learned to trust
Then chose to find a common trait that you knew would ignite her lust
You chose her love for music to reveal your sensuality
Then chose to pursue her so you can boost your weakened sexuality
You chose to ask for her number just to hear her voice
Then chose to spin your story making the lies not your best choice
You chose to continue with them even after you first met
Now it's a choice she hasn't recovered from yet.

I was trying to portray how angry she was at the choices made that brought her to the place she is now. Thanks for your insight Hashman.

Wow! You betrayed a story that had me glued in. A good way, in my opinion of meeting someone online. For online, people can become whomever they want to be, instead of the person who they truly are. To bad the one who come in with good intentions have to find out the hard way. Great piece of sliced and diced ink!

Thanks for your insight ElBaby. It is a shame that there is the dishonesty on the internet and some people learn the hard way. I think more people are clued up about things now. There are genuine ones thou.

Yes sadly all too common
Spoils it for the genuine ones
Makes others too cautious
Things usually dont get off the ground
It's the world we live in unfortunately
Great scribe to a all to real problem

By becoming too cautious people start to become someone they're not by concealing their true self. The dishonesty begins then spirals out of control and the choices we make hurt and can damage lives.

yes agreed SH
favourable concealment up to a point is commendable
and in this day in age with unscrupulous people male or females taping away in darkened rooms while wives or husbands are out
always found being truthful helps
saves agonising appologise later down the line
that can taint friendships
i have found men are the main culprits
very chatty and charming till push comes to shove then sinister intent revealed or the "oh you got me all wrong" "thats not what I desire i'm married" "oh didn't I say" then crest fallen or worse stalked invading your own space
its tricky to navigate truly it is

I watched a film about this topic awhile back and it's now a tv show. Seriously an eye opener.

I'm sure you are not alone Petit_Minou. The connections online are intensified tenfold and we all know how powerful words can be. Remember the rush the connection gave and know that it can happen for real someday.
