Today I told you the wonderful news
Of how you became my faithful muse
You have opened my mind
And let my words unwind
You taught me to let my words just flow
And never let my heart sink far below
When ever it is I'm feeling down
You come along and erase my frown
You make my words fly wild and free
Just like the sparrow they sing for thee
