Kingdom of Virtue and Sin
Where does innocence go when it is pushed to the edge
When does innocence become a frail bone snapped in half
A frame is born, And cut down every day since
Peace must be found, This war is pushing me ahead to my death
My veins feel the bite, And succumb to the numbing pain
My blood feels the pulse, And succumbs to the numbing guilt
Trusting in my god, His arms slowly consume my every thought
As his nails dig into my mind, I’ve slowly gone ever so blind
A veil over my eyes, As he takes my hand and guides me through
This nightmare I find myself in, This kingdom of virtue and sin
A hunger I once had, The hunger that consumed my guilty eyes
Was taken and fed by the wolves inside, To the sound of my guilty cries
My queen approaches, In wondrous silk and a veil of silver
She whispers into my throat, Reaching my ears much too late
For my thoughts have jumped ahead, To the conclusion and climax
As I come a little closer, I see her eyes turn black and teeth turn razors
A marriage of wrong and right, A marriage of dark and light
A union between unholy and pleasured servant
An agreement that appeases the devil in me
She pulls me down, Holds me up, And pushes me away
