With Swollen Eyes and SUllen Sorrow
with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I type the words you read
acidic tears flow down my face
with the press of every key
I pour myself into this thought
with every ounce of me
so with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I type the words you read
with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
in the morning I awake
reminded of the pain I feel
with every breath I take
my wounded heart skips a beat
to set a jagged pace
so with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
in the morning I awake
with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I make it through the day
the sky falls in front of my face
and turns the world to grey
I step around my shadow
as to not cause more pain
so with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I make it through the day
with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I lay down to sleep
the darkness falls upon my eyes
and my spirit begins to weep
as I slip into my dreams
as the horrors start to creep
and with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I lay down to sleep
and sullen sorrow
I type the words you read
acidic tears flow down my face
with the press of every key
I pour myself into this thought
with every ounce of me
so with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I type the words you read
with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
in the morning I awake
reminded of the pain I feel
with every breath I take
my wounded heart skips a beat
to set a jagged pace
so with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
in the morning I awake
with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I make it through the day
the sky falls in front of my face
and turns the world to grey
I step around my shadow
as to not cause more pain
so with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I make it through the day
with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I lay down to sleep
the darkness falls upon my eyes
and my spirit begins to weep
as I slip into my dreams
as the horrors start to creep
and with swollen eyes
and sullen sorrow
I lay down to sleep
