The Beholder
They always say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
But what is beauty to our society now a days? A barbie perfect body and a cosmetic drenched face.
Light is valued more then dark, but has no-one ever heard the term: Darker the berry, sweeter the juice?
What happened to natural beauty? Define natural beauty. We Women and man, cant begin to explain what is actually beautiful.
Men fall for what they see. Women fall for what they hear. That's why some men lie and some women wear makeup.
Sometimes we feel so unaccepted when we are natural because they ones getting all the attention have beautiful bodies, long hair fake this and fake that. Some men feel they can be handsome or natural without "SWAG" or muscles, but they look so better naturally classic.
But, I guess beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder. I just wonder why they beholder expects so damn much.

This was excellent. You are doing a good thing here, exposing the falsehoods we are fed and believe. The fashion of being very very thin for women exposes our wealth of food. In countries where food is hard to find or in eras of continuous poverty, lush curvaceous women are the desirable ones. Now people of all ages develop eating disorders because "being fat" is one of the last taboos. You can shame fat people and it is acceptable. Except it does not work.
