traditions and steps that form the core
of a way of life as simple as ohr

by being open bout our fears
and honest with our peers
we make real friends that last for years

in times of trouble and untold strife
as were all used to an insane life
walking the edge of a razor knife

we meet in groups large and small
in the common rooms of many church hall
to help each other avoid the fall

one day at a time and let go let god
may seem to many to be quite odd
some slogans saving souls from the eternal nod

i thank bill and bob for being there
a couple of men that had a dream of care
