Luciferian Muse

Prophecies drenched in gore,
A trail of guts across the world
Filling seas from shore to shore.

Entombed in the gloom
Stained with the strain
Veiled by the hell,
These are virtues
Given to me
By holy father
With unholy views,
Pride is so jaded,
Such are his muse.
Lament of torment;
The cries of the pews.

Why must I suffer His infinite wrath?
For before I was born I was set on the path
To struggle against unbreakable chains
Where I had everything to lose and not to gain.
The stars stare at me from heavenly posts
And sneer at me as I wander lost like a ghost.
Cruel laughter reaches down to my ears
As I walk the damned path of Purgatory's years.

Was I not the most beautiful angel
That was left suspended from the hooked angle?
Looking up into his holy eyes,
Father, what is cause for my whimpered cries?
Why must I burn like morning stars
And be cast from you to rot away so afar?
To live here is my God-given right
Not to be cast from the seraphim sight!

Prophecies drenched in gore,
A trail of guts across the world
Filling seas from shore to shore.

Entombed in the gloom
Stained with the strain
Veiled by the hell,
These are virtues
Given to me
By holy father
With unholy views,
Pride is so jaded,
Such are his muse.
Lament of torment;
The cries of the pews.

Here I sit on a throne made of bone
Wishing only to made my way back to my home.
To stare into the face of the father
And bring him down like a lamb before slaughter.
For one day you will face judgment
And from the celestial seat you will plummet
From the throats there'll be a sigh
For those who have lost those who have died.

Prophecies drenched in gore,
A trail of guts across the world
Filling seas from shore to shore.

Entombed in the gloom
Stained with the strain
Veiled by the hell,
These are virtues
Given to me
By holy father
With unholy views,
Pride is so jaded,
Such are his muse.
Lament of torment;
The cries of the pews.
