I enjoy the way the couplet lines mirror each other, thus implying memory in its composure. Simple and effective. I do enjoy these shorter poetic insights. Thank you.

ahh..this one, just by a glance, reveals a simple ,to some extent, positive shade to that subject remembered, which is not in re-reads. But, I think I am building up the blocks scattered across so seemingly obscure with my now-hazy brain & come back here.. esp. the dark theme you have put in & the title (that's the beauty of your pieces, you make the reader wonder in different dimensional contexts!)

juz to add after my rereads as I said ll be back, well not thou much to add to your lovely memorabilia-c piece, only the woven macro-loop reveals more in your short verses... the wishing for a continuum with the subject in your first verse gains a 'cautious' emphasis from the same unchanged way of your past & present form, juz like saying nothing more or nothing less..
Well, Ophie , I like to dissect your pieces cos the scope you lay across is v.v.maximum, as always unique to you:) and, sorry dear to put more of my mind scribblings here again! ~Uma.x

no, please don't apologise. I love reading your thoughts on my pieces. Your interpretations are always, somehow/what close to my thoughts when writing my scribblings and I appreciate the fact that you can more or less identify them.
so, thank you!

Thank you dear.
In english, it literally means 'the forty'. It's a tribute for my late god-mother. We lost her 40 days ago.
