Turmoils of the heart
So much turmoil
Happiness seems covered in oil
Waiting for a sign
So weigh down
Resign
No smile just a frown
Unseen gestures of interest
Reticent
Not wanting to be a pest
Being that unwanted percent
Tired of those silly games
Which take an endless amount of games
A roulette wheel
Useless poker deal
Heart wanting to care
Seems to be an unwanted spare
Dragged here
There and anywhere
Not shown any affection
Even the slightest inflection
Wanting just the minutest hint
Annoyed of this waiting stint
Show some kind of inclination,
Would be better than this non verbal masturbation
The slightest touch
Is that to ask to much
A simple kiss given
Not wanting to feel riven
Just to feel whole
To ignite the dying coal
Deep inside the heart
Where it would be a start
Wanting to know there is a chance
Tired of being on the sidelines of love's dance
Return of the heart's fire
Burn once again with desire
Banish the feeling of trudging through a mire
Fly once again higher and higher
Walk once again hand in hand
Along the bliss of eternity's beach sand
Happiness seems covered in oil
Waiting for a sign
So weigh down
Resign
No smile just a frown
Unseen gestures of interest
Reticent
Not wanting to be a pest
Being that unwanted percent
Tired of those silly games
Which take an endless amount of games
A roulette wheel
Useless poker deal
Heart wanting to care
Seems to be an unwanted spare
