life loves me more than she should
I am not faithful
or honest, and my head
is elsewhere most days
but I noted how gorgeous she was
in that dress
the one that she wears
to twirl on hillsides
when no one's watching
life lusts after the cowards strength
and lost her voice
flatter her privately once

There's a fine one. It is easy to understand but has a depth. Clear in what it has for imagery, then gets out fast before it overburdens the flow.

i have had this one vision, the one that would sum up the most for me in this world...it is girl, unaware, spinning on a hill....she has been a lover, sister, and daughter to me...and i have seen her, in her favorite dress
