Tense Moment

As tense as the moment of falling
With an immobile gaze glued
To the sunless horizon ablazed blue
colorful is the canvas of my thoughts of you
But my brush can only smear faint and faded hues

At last i sense dawn
Your sunfire eyes rise
The warmth moves up my cheek
And a lightning bolt heartbeat
Breaks my neck of concrete
Could the squeak of a mouse
chase away the elephant
Could the earth
Orbit the moon
My motion is rigid as the mountains edge
But your hurricane breath of life
Blows me away

Your smile a perfect ivory temple
Whose pillars hold my dopamine moments
Since my tongue cant paint whats in my head
I offer it at the altar of your temple instead
