To My Shy Girl
Just in case you read this,
But are too shy to tell me,
So I write,
Knowing that which you deny,
I did too at first.
I see it in your eyes,
Feel it in your smile,
Oh,
You may protest and pretend,
That you do not have feelings for me,
But your eyes and smiles cannot lie,
For they are the gateway to your heart and soul,
Where passion is fueled by desires,
And the truth about what is meant to be,
Can be found by those willing to seek,
You need not be afraid,
Cause you are not alone,
For when you are ready,
You will find me there,
Waiting with open arms.
But are too shy to tell me,
So I write,
Knowing that which you deny,
I did too at first.
I see it in your eyes,
Feel it in your smile,
Oh,
You may protest and pretend,
That you do not have feelings for me,
But your eyes and smiles cannot lie,
For they are the gateway to your heart and soul,
Where passion is fueled by desires,
And the truth about what is meant to be,
Can be found by those willing to seek,
You need not be afraid,
Cause you are not alone,
For when you are ready,
You will find me there,
Waiting with open arms.
