Northern Star/Southern Cross

North, I'm heading on to another adventure
And in time I think I'll be sure
There's hope, but I'm still afraid to lose passion
It's different when you fall in love with the falling vase

If I knew where you're going, I'd go that way too
But not even you are sure of where the southern cross is displayed
Well, I'll keep on looking until I find a sign
That reassures my sight, I'm lost and found

East, I'm directing my arrow with delay
And I'll make sure I don't stray
But it wasn't you who was undeterred
It's a whole new story when the law loves the truth

South, the land crosses through the field
And you've broken my shield
The self inflicted pain you've stored
It simply won't stay the anymore, not anymore

If I knew where you're going, I'd go that way too
But not even you are sure of where the southern cross is displayed
Well, I'll keep on looking until I find a sign
That reassures my sight, I'm lost and found

West, now there's no way for me to see the stars
And my heart's locked behind bars
The scars in your skin they meant so much to me
Now they're covered in nothing but shameful glory
