Sure you can. Just look at something (e.g a flower) properly and start to sketch. It works! And after some time, you're able to do it without any effort. Start with grass :-).
I have to create a photo of your haiku image ... May I? I have a colleague in mind who might lend me her body ...
Once we had an exhibition of landscape paintings of Spain and haikus in Spanish (since that's my first second language), done by a Paraguayan colleague. That was an extremely good combination!
