Too busy looking out for others to realise
Herself falling into a pit of lies
Struggling to remerge
Mind lost of visions
Rejection overwhelming her
Justifying self pity
Consuming darkness
Unable to resist
Its succulent taste
Her appetite for it growing stronger
The longer she stays
Bitterness surrounding her
A different life she desires
Her misfortune clouding her judgement
Of self and others
Split mind, split soul
Invisible for anyone to repair
Logic eludes her
Continuing her fall into despair
