Mistaken

 Don't confuse who I am
With the person who you think
Me to be
I am a one-of-a-kind
I am a person who is me.

"Who do you think you are?"
"You are nobody!"
Words like those do
Not trigger anything
They cannot hurt me
I am me
I am a nobody because a
Nobody IS a somebody!

I am who I will always be
People have been mistaken
For too long
When identity comes my way
There will be no mistakes.
