Back and forth
to and fro
a rocking movement
between our bodies
a waning tide
as you fill me
with y o u r slick courage
a tantalizing conundrum
soaked in sweat
laden with tears and anguish
frustrations nearly sedated
lost in crashing sensation

side to side
a push and pull
between our bodies
a rip current
taking over
from y o u r slick courage
to and fro
