Nothing he can do

 
There is nothing he can do
he may try but he isn’t you,
instead his interest peaks my attention
answering no questions
why you can’t afford such an intervention,
there is nothing he can do to woo me
after you my eyes are lost and I refuse to see,
still my heart falters when he gets near
I can close my mind and envision you’re here
he maybe can touch my hand and leave me breathless
but outside your world I remain heartless,
there is nothing he can say to me
there is not any certain thing he can do
he isn’t you.
