The Pain of Addiction

The pain of addiction is an emotional infliction. � � � � � � � � � �It starts at the center of your core, first its fun then turns to bore. Headaches,Shakes,and bathroom breaks,only to realize Lastnight's fun is your vomit on the floor.Family and Friends are emotionally paralized, even when your not loaded they see it in your eyes. Sobriety what the hell is that? I have screwed up enough why would God give me my life back?

Good introduction to why we should not get addicted. However, addiction is a disease, a method of self-medication. You mention alcohol, but many addictions are caused by doctors giving pain prescriptions to the needy and these drugs cause dependence. You brought up an important, yet common issue.
