Eternally One
In my minds' eye I visualize you
Images so vivid mind and reality seem to blur and meld
Like the hint of a forgotten dream...
Or a memory of a us from another life
And in my rememberings
I see and feel and taste you
Every breath Every sound Every agonizing inch of contact to be had
And I crave more
More than sex I crave More than intimacy
And I relive it as if it has happened before
As participant and onlooker
I bear witness to forever
A melding of body and mind and soul
Of one pulse of life in two forms
Of one heart beat under a canopy of stars
And in my rememberings I loved you
As I love you in my happenings
As I Will love you in my to-be's
For you and I are eternal
