Wakeup Call

I want to kiss you awake
All over your body
Starting with your toes
Quickly, lightly, so as not to wake you too soon

Then your feet, still lightly, still softly
And your legs, and maybe now you giggle or shift in your sleep
As I linger behind your knees,
Trailing warm, wet kisses on that oh so sensitive skin

Up the legs, and quickly past your hips
I can’t get distracted now
But even so I can’t help nipping just a bit
At your belly as I work my way up

I’m sure you’re awake now,
Still pretending to sleep
So I grin and slide up to your breasts
And leave a ring of sloppy loud kisses around each nipple

Then your neck, and up to your ears,
Breathing slowly, heavily, loudly
And then down your arms,
Making sure to give each finger special attention
I’m starting to feel flushed,
So I quickly dab at your eyelids, cheeks, chin and lips,
Dragging it out as long as I can stand
Before diving between your legs

Both inner thighs, biting a bit now,
And around to your lower belly
Before finally, at last,
Tasting you mercilessly,
And throwing the pretense of sleep away,
You furiously grip my hair and whimper my name.

I wonder if you’d ever get tired of it, if I woke you that way every morning?
