Falling down

I really loved the basis of this poem just a few edits I've thrown in if you want to use them.

'You'll never understand
the way I feel about you.
I could never let you know;
and now I realise...  
I must live without you.
Does my pain even show?

Every time I try to speak
my tongue gets in the way.
I'm feeling like a fool
for the stupid things I say.
I wish the ground would open
and swallow me away
'Cause I'm falling down...again.
I'm falling down...again (I think 'I'm' gives it more definition - got to be a personal choice. =])

I think about you
every... single... day.
Girl, you're always on my mind
and when I close my eyes
your image I see.
I dream about you - all the time

Do you see me
when I pass your way?
Do you understand
the things I need to say?
Do you see another fool
getting in the way?
Because I am falling down again.
I'm falling down...again.

And now I know!
There are things that I must do
to try and ease my aching heart.
I'll keep my distance
and I'll try to avoid you.
It is not a cure but it is a start.

I know it's the way
it has to be.
The only way to set me free
or, at least, I'm hoping that it will
help to stop me
from falling down again
because I'm falling down again
Always falling down.'

I absolutely loved the base though, the repetition, the emotion, it was fantastic. Can't wait to read more of your work soon! =]

that's how i deal with those things, the grief over it, then drop it as far away as possible so as not to be constantly taunted by it; because those emotions will keep coming back if you don't at least try to abandon the cause. good! keep at it. [:
