Corruption
Corruption all around
Never letting us touch the ground
To feel the soft grass
Beneath our feet
Nothing would ever be so sweet.
Look around
All you see are the buildings
Falling down
Beneath your feet
Corruption not letting you feel
You look away
As if it had never been there
Trying to break loose
Of these restricting chains
For that is where you hang
You hang your head
Sweat dripping off
With tear streaked cheeks
Finally you have won
A place to stand tall
No more corruption
It is now the farthest thought
In the worries of your mind
No more corruption
Till the end of time
Never letting us touch the ground
To feel the soft grass
Beneath our feet
Nothing would ever be so sweet.
Look around
All you see are the buildings
Falling down
Beneath your feet
Corruption not letting you feel
You look away
As if it had never been there
Trying to break loose
Of these restricting chains
For that is where you hang
You hang your head
Sweat dripping off
With tear streaked cheeks
Finally you have won
A place to stand tall
No more corruption
It is now the farthest thought
In the worries of your mind
No more corruption
Till the end of time
