Sickness
Bolted down with arms restrained,
My body has been deeply stained,
I seem to have lost all control,
The cells within tumbling like Alice down the rabbit hole,
Vitamins and chemicals have been given a boost,
While the intruder has been loosed,
The voice has become rough and coarse,
As if the box was trampled by a horse,
All the muscles are completely weak,
Every moment seeming so bleak,
I feel as if I might fall,
I have no strength to move at all,
I need to mount a bolstered attack,
But how can I when I can barely get off my back,
Fluids run, some dark and some clear,
I feel a sickled scythe is drawing near,
My head runs rampant from left to right,
The internal system must begin to fight,
The one that exists inside my personal scene,
Holding the coveted mutant gene,
It must take action against the invader,
Or else my body will become a total traitor,
Begin the battle with all haste and quickness,
I need to bury this dreaded sickness.
