Broken
You are half of my DNA,
my supposed protector and care-giver.
How could you ruin my trust
that made me build up walls against the world.
You were supposed to teach me
and build me up, instead you taunted
me and tore me down.
You are a poor excuse for a
father, so much that I can't
even call you one.
How long until you realize
that if you go on like this,
you will have nothing left.
Do you even realize how you've
hurt me? Broke me down to nothing by
the lack of hugs, words and love.
How can you go on like this?
College has set me free,
I am done with you.
