Shattered Tears
Water blends her tears, with streams of remembrances
Enfolded in coolness of a ceramic basin, warming from the water draped upon her
Exposed emotion, raw angst, stripped bare of lightness, curled along the floor
The hardened tile becomes her bed, heaviness surrounds
Her bed of regrets, reinforced by a past, toughened to allow a future
No one hears the cries of sorrow, pouring down the drain
Entering her cesspool of shadows, downhearted from life
Washing the sins, the scars remain, desires are without fail
Soaked hair suffocating her words, gurgling to breath, gasping for air
Nails breaking skin, releasing her pain, rocking back and forth to eternally soothe
