"Macrobiotic" instantly makes me think of food (damn my foodie instincts).
The organic, alchemical process of decay that leads to new growth is truly painful, especially personal growth and reformation after having one's heart and guts ripped out.
Nicely wrought.

As Aish said, nicely wrought. A few more solid images would have been nice; without much definite to latch on to, like a striking depiction of a sunrise or a unique metaphor for love, a poem can quickly slip from one's mind. Still, your language is elegant and concise, and this was a muscular evocation of something powerful. Critique is JMHO. Thank you for the read.
