Down with a Sickness

Feeling sad kind of blue
Just not sure what I should do
Being severely sick really sucks
The doctor appointment require big bucks
Trips to the hospital for lab work two to three times a month what a drag
Who do these doctors think I am Ms Moneybags
Now I realize how cancer patients must feel
Wondering if breakfast lunch dinner or a snack would be their last meal
The medications the needles appropriate for testing
As my body and spirit sit here aching
With some illnesses they exceed to the point their visible
Others nut much so you must be careful
Anxiety depression diabetes to name a few
These are illnesses invisible to the eye in hopes that doctors find a breakthrough
So never judge what you can't see
For one day you may end up with stage four renal failure just like me
