Wonder

 close my eyes waiting for everything to go away
I open my eyes and see what will happen today
I look at myself in the mirror
and see the reflection of my past
looking back at me

I remember everything
All the good and bad
Everything has just gone so fast
I begin wondering where did it all go

I’ve lost friends and family
Along the way
I think about them each day

The time has flashed before my eyes
My mind has gone past my lies
Seeing everything flying by
Leaves me wondering why?

I close my eyes beginning to pray
Tears fall down
and I wonder why?
