badlands
the earth is pulling ....tearing loose from the ground
the pieces swirling out of our relm of sight
a deathmarch twords the center of it
consumed by the grip ... can't stand the maddness
seeping through your pours ... it only taunts
brush off your sleeve... your heart will drop
so pail and blue .... a color so fitting
golden embers engulf around your body
running on fire .... circling in no apparent direction
hands up ... release it all ...
tonight the world is ours
the water turning our perceptions on end
close your eyes ... forget the path that lead you here
let the sounds take your feet off the ground
rise above it...
don't let it keep turning over inside your mind
let it go
let the pull of the earth take you up
into the churrning sky
i know its in you
feel the warmth in your viens again
wont leave you frozen in mid step
feel it coursing through
iceycles falling down ... melting off you
i see the change in your eyes
the embers only surround you
the pieces swirling out of our relm of sight
a deathmarch twords the center of it
consumed by the grip ... can't stand the maddness
seeping through your pours ... it only taunts
brush off your sleeve... your heart will drop
so pail and blue .... a color so fitting
golden embers engulf around your body
running on fire .... circling in no apparent direction
