She spent 23 years taking
care of him (he had,still has, no job);
clothing him,feeding him, pulling
him up when he was down, caring
for him - loving him

He spent 23 years loathing
her,claiming that she was
suffocating him, immasculating
him - he wanted out yet he
stayed for the freebies she was
giving him

She stayed despite the beatings,
the lying,the cheating... because
she believed he would change or
at least he would find a way to
show his gratitude

He compares her to Proverbs
31: 10-31 yet he says she's
not for him - all her good
qualities are over-shadowed
by her "black" soul

This she found (when she
was cleaning his side of their
room) scribbled on a sheet of
paper and she soon realised
that she was just his host -
