Everlasting Place
Skies are grey and sad, they cry with no tomorrow
I lay in a bitter defeat, as the rain comes down
It hides my tears and my deepest sorrows
I take this painful chance to take a look around
The trees are dead, the flowers wilt and fall
Their despair filled faces are at the ground
Casting aside all hope, they hungrily call
My heart understands, it takes their glistening pain
I bottle it all in, for it is little compared to mine
The sadness leaves, happiness falls like rain
The depression that hung in the air is gone, everything is fine
But the more I, so stupidly, bottle in
The more these devouring fears come to light
Soon I realize a mistake, a gloomy sin
Soon I find myself trembling in an awkward fright
Soon I am looking at the, so limited, sky again
My quick escape from my world, and tear stained face
My everlasting darkness, my everlasting place
