today i went
up north to Old Forge
it's a tourist trap
in the adirondacks
if you don't know
where they are
fuck you
i don't care
so i'm out on
fourth lake
and i see the
most spectacular
thing
fifteen people on
one pontoon boat
one pontoon boat made
to hold six to ten
they were riding low
in the water
too many people in
the front of the boat
because this is not
bad enough
they lean over the front railing
to see what is the matter
and the back end of the
boat lifts off the water
up and up it goes
we yell for them to move back
but they don't
not right away
i'm a certified lifeguard
but i didn't have my whistle
and to rescue fifteen people
with out my whistle
fuck that
so the moral of the story is
people on boats can be
pretty fucking stupid
