Like A Crown
It's getting dark and lonely,
And I'm feeling kind of reckless.
I'll put a chain around my throat,
Wear your heart as a necklace.
Wear you like a crown,
Because you never leave my head.
Wishing I knew your thoughts,
When Im laying down in bed.
Pillows cant replace you,
I need you here to dream.
Concious or asleep,
I need to feel you breathe on me.
If I can feel your bones break,
Can you feel my heart beat?
You make me high, you make me low,
But nothing inbetween.
I can taste the ocean,
And I can feel the horizon.
I'll pain a picture of the sky,
That I can see your eyes in.
And I'm feeling kind of reckless.
I'll put a chain around my throat,
Wear your heart as a necklace.
Wear you like a crown,
Because you never leave my head.
Wishing I knew your thoughts,
When Im laying down in bed.
Pillows cant replace you,
I need you here to dream.
Concious or asleep,
I need to feel you breathe on me.
If I can feel your bones break,
Can you feel my heart beat?
You make me high, you make me low,
But nothing inbetween.
I can taste the ocean,
And I can feel the horizon.
I'll pain a picture of the sky,
That I can see your eyes in.
