Sonnet attempt #1
I'm writing these words to test the water
A sonnet to me is so very new
leading myself like a lamb to the slaughter
As I tear open my soul just for you
If you think me a fool please let me know
Having never voiced this question before
Taking my chances well here I now go
If I'm in error please show me the door
However if you think it's all ok
And you do agree to my proposal
We'll find a secret place to sneak away
And ignore any coming reprisal
So come take my hand if you really dare
Come be my lover, lets have an affair

yes very good but i think i will decline your very kind offer of an affair for fear of upsetting my mrs lol joking aside that was good and so up my street as u know
