Christmas Cheer, Who Needs It?

All I want is turkey skin.
I crave it, covet it, indeed a gluttonous sin
Yes, yes, it is true,
and all of you at the table can watch me chew.
What do I care?
I'll never be asked to come back here.
Put me in a corner, even chastise me.
Your words will fall on deaf ears, for I'll be in my dietary glo-ry.
Perhaps I'll ask for a little salt to spice up my unusual repast,
then my teeth and jaw go to work incredibly fast.
Some of you may look at me in horror.
I'll even make animal growling sounds, me, this primordial knaw-er
Who invited him?  I hear someone say.
Who is this troglodyte here on Christmas Day?
