The Darkest Part of Magic

I've been to many a place and time
Searching for a home
No sea too deep no sky too high
To stop me as I roam

I'll fight the darkest part of magic
And stop the raging war
I live for the enigmatic stories
Behind sealed doors

The lights are swirling across the sky
I keep searching for a clue
The rolling thunder slowly dies
The grass is turning blue

The water pours a lonely sound
The sands all wash away
Butterflies fly all around
And turn the night to day

Goodbyes come and go
And smiles are wearing thin
But understand this musical flow
Is part of what we're in

The moon kisses the ocean
And the sky swallows the sea
While an impossible notion
Appears to set you free
