My Place In Hell
Brothers in arms, We stood by each other and faced a thousand years of struggle
Thick as thieves, We stole and cheated our way through society’s vice grip
I thought our bond was forever, But today you stole away and said I wasn’t worth the trouble
For years we filled death’s cup, And today you forced me to take the fatal sip
How could you do this to me, I was your ally in a room of enemies
How could I be so blind to this, I never questioned who you were before
How could I be so naïve, I was accepting of your foolishness and pity
How could I let this go, You chose greed and now you’ve started a war
Face me, you fucking coward, when you stab me with your treachery
You slither in the shadows, Plotting and deceiving my downfall
You promised me your allegiance, But now I clearly fucking see
You wanted my place in hell, Let’s break down every goddamn wall
Spit on my name again, Call me a liar to my face, Not to my back
Color my legacy in red, Indebted to you forever, I unchain myself
You were my savior, Now you’ve turned my heart so fucking black
Face me, Look into my eyes, See the devil you’ve unleashed, Fuck the rest

I really like how each stanza builds in this piece. Seems like a fairly personal write, but something a reader can relate to and interpret as well. Maybe too many Fucks, but that's just my opinion. Other than that, great write.

Greed and betrayal between brothers in arms I like the build up towards the climax and the way the story unfolds. Dope!
