What The Envelope Holds

Dear Tink,

You've been hit left and right,
Having to go thru so much day and night,
You've suffered with torture and so much pain,
It's even hard to breathe during a cold rain.

I can only imagine everything you've gone thru,
Feeling like if it's bad it's aimed at you,
There's so much you had to endure,
I wish for it all there had been an easier cure.

You've been to hell and back but never alone,
No matter what came your way you weren't on your own,
Thru every scream, tear, fear, and breaths of despair,
I want you to know I was always there.

By your side every step of the way,
Holding your hand every day,
It's only fitting and right can't you see,
Because thru it all you were always there for me.

Never a tear fell without you knowing,
Your enduring love forever showing,
You saw a sparkle thru all the dust,
You shined me up and cleared away the rust.

I'm reminded of words from a special song about your hair,
You know if it all fell out I wouldn't care,
It's not for that I love you so,
Because together we always heal, love, and grow.

Without your loving support I'd surely sink,
