Too Far

I'd ask you to save me
But you're just too far away
I want you to leave me be
So I can wash the scars away

Sometimes I wonder if you can
See the loneliness on my face
The cost is too much for all the lands
So I'll sit here without a grace

Tell me all that I want to hear
Let's play games you like to play
There is too much to fear
I know someone who flew today

Let us drown out the stars
With clouds made of the hauntings
Hauntings of the blood and scars
But pain leaving you with wantings

I'm not screaming, not dying
Why? It's easy to understand
I'm not crying because I'm not trying
Not trying to be heard, It's too bland

To try, try, try again
Live another day with this charade
When all I want is for life to end
I'm tired of living inside my own barricade
