Love Is A Flame
Love is a blazing flame
that burns holes in the heart
and shines blissfully yet silently
but only lasts temporarily
It can be intimidating to some
wind must be the weapon
that finishes off the flame
that kept so many alive
It is iridescent,
secure when it's
barricaded
yet, at any second
it can burn out,
and leave you in empty darkness.
