Write for my son
Does true love genuinely exist, or just a cliche
Perhaps its just the feeling received with your favorite song on replay
Why do we tend to make it a life mission to find
Why is it so hardwired into our minds
True love is just positive energy and attraction
If one is vibing negatively it wont add up like an improper fraction
To me true love is found in my son
Maybe that's why I'm not so provoked to find the "one"
His curles and big brown eyes
To the dimples on his cheeks and cute chunky thighs
The way he comes to me for hapiness and than comfort when hes sad
How I can make his smile shine when hes mad
How his laugh makes me laugh
Or how he owns his own creativity and craft
Seeing him grow into a person leaves me speachless
The level of love it brings, no man can beat this
I've literally just came to realize what true love was to me while writing this poem
This could probably be the best one I wrote him.
