'Tis you

His lonliness aspired
New-found glimpse
To a hope so bright,
Let the light
Shine upon the two
Intertwined in a kiss
Of lovely bliss
As the sun
Conversed with the moon.

"Inspire me,"
He said,
To the girl
With the heart of glass,
His cotton fingertips
Carressing the cracked
Shards of insecurities
That burdened her
With memories like
"Blades to the soul,"
she replied.

She yearned
For his touch,
As he did
For hers
Letting every moment pass
On clouds too full with worries
Of letting loose
The rain.

Anguish forsaken,
The boy too lost
In depths of perception,
Toiling to understand
The meaning
Of such a beautiful mess
It all came to be.

The struggle
Of unknown feelings,
Dealing with
Past regrets
And Future instances
Such as these,
Confused were the two,
In embrace
For all little things
That made the kiss
So bittersweet.

"Were you reminded
Of your Love?"

She implored.

The collision of their lips
Once more,
Drove them
To a world
So enriched with white
Petals that roamed the sky
Like doves,
Breathing in affection.

And he finally replied,

"'Tis you - Eternal
blossoms of
hidden grace,
Your face,
I long
To mend your soul,
The heart of glass,
So broken,
So cracked
By hands
Too hard to handle
Such a thing -

I promise
To embrace with care,
And never leave you,
My love.

'Tis you."
