Lost Flower
I have lost my flower,
And with that, also my power.
Now, I am locked away in a tower.
Left alone,
I am nothing, but skin and bone,
At least now, no one can be phony.
My body is trembling,
My spirit is crumbling.
And as my head hits the floor,
I become numb to my core.
Everything I have left is broken,
And with that I leave you this token.
I am no longer terrified,
My mind has been clarified.
I thought about running,
But then everyone would be hunting
For me.
And that is not how I want it to be.
Say your goodbyes,
Because this is the final of my cries.
Please, have no more fear,
My end is very near.
And these are my final words,
Now I can fly away with birds.
And with that, also my power.
Now, I am locked away in a tower.
Left alone,
I am nothing, but skin and bone,
At least now, no one can be phony.
My body is trembling,
My spirit is crumbling.
And as my head hits the floor,
I become numb to my core.
Everything I have left is broken,
And with that I leave you this token.
I am no longer terrified,
My mind has been clarified.
I thought about running,
But then everyone would be hunting
For me.
And that is not how I want it to be.
Say your goodbyes,
Because this is the final of my cries.
Please, have no more fear,
My end is very near.
And these are my final words,
Now I can fly away with birds.
