Image for the poem My Now.

My Now.

Blue skies, suffering trees.
Summer clouds, humid breeze.
Sunny day, gloomy mood.
Repetitive tomorrow, melancholy blues.
Hard work aimed, unfulfilled purpose.
Productive in the field, all work, worthless.

Still, life goes on, when the day isn't flawless.
Tomorrow's yesterday isn't perfect, nor is it faultless.

There's a power higher, a higher influence.
If believed blindly, you'll connect. Conjuring.

Why walk in the rain, but hate the heat?
Why fall in love, with intention to deceive?

Why excel in education, & result to a dead end position?
Why make yearly commitments & in return there's no transition?

See, the day is never perfect, but LIVE as the following second is given.
Life's irony can play a trick on our minds if we don't hear with our eyes, and see with a listen.
Now ain't that funny?....

What's ironic is, the moment I spent pleasuring my mentality
I'd been involved in my own sexual activity.
fingering my treasure, so deeply...
Aroused by my own identity.

Please the mind with intellectual thoughts
Honor the temple as the thoughts produce...
This just happened.
I love my pussy! I honor her with care.
