My Mask

I wear my mask.

My daily uniform of life

Always lying and deceiving…

All I am wanting Is your love…

That is all I need to remove my mask.

You have touched me so.

My mask bears a hairline fracture.

You have seen me for me

You have seen past the lies and deceit

I want you to remove my mask

I want to let you see me

I want to see you

Remove my mask of lies and deceit

As I remove yours
